Support Tippy
Questions, bug reports and feedback are all welcome — and they make Tippy better.
An independent project
Tippy is an independent project built by a single developer, for people living with type 1 diabetes who want carbohydrate counting to be less of a chore — by describing a meal in plain words, or scanning a photo or barcode.
There is no advertising and no data selling here. Tippy keeps accounts and your diary on its own small server so your log follows you across devices, and it writes to Nightscout only from your device — never through us.
Feedback & bug reports
Found something wrong? Have an idea? I'd love to hear from you.
Please don't include private health or account information in public GitHub issues.
Support the development
Tippy runs on its own infrastructure, and every contribution helps keep it that way. Thank you!
Server, database, AI processing and distribution all cost money. A contribution helps cover those running costs and supports the time that goes into fixes and new features — and shows that Tippy is useful enough to be worth maintaining.
- Keep it running — infrastructure, AI calls and distribution have ongoing costs.
- Fund improvements — better food matching, more databases and new features take time.
- Stay independent — no ads, no data selling, no pressure to chase growth.
Thank you for using Tippy — and for considering a contribution. It genuinely makes a difference.
